MTV.ca 2010-2018

As the senior designer for MTV.ca between 2009-2013 I had the pleasure of creating innovative immersive experiences that focused on original content or user-generated content for MTV in the digital space.

I redesigned and rebranded MTV.ca increasing website traffic, including increased video streaming (This iteration of the site ran between 2010-2018). Through the redesign, I rebranded MTV Canada and led implementation of the new brand on the channel design with the On-Air motion team.

I designed the first MTV Canada app, allowing users to watch their favorite shows and favorite music videos.

MTV FORA

MTV FORA was a Fashion and Beauty vertical created in partnership with Clean and Clear. I led design and vision for MTV FORA, designing the brand, the product experience, directing the photoshoots, creating content (video interviews, documenting NYFW), was on set for promo shoots and moving the experience from a flash based website, to a fully responsive site before stepping away to work on other projects.

In the beginning days of the brand we would create fashion photo shoots featuring the MTV hosts, which I art directed. These photo shoots would live online and be a blown up interactive experience. The full layout would always be bigger than one’s screen, which invited the user to explore the typographic landscape, stumbling across many tableaux as they explored the artwork.

MTV FORA was the longest running brand partnership initiative (5 years).
